John Collard
With a diverse career comprising more than 19 years in government management, 17 years as a private financial consultant and 25 years running a small business with 40 employees, John’s financial acumen is of the highest order.
John has extensive knowledge and expertise in establishing financial systems and internal control procedures, budgeting, forecasting, and providing accurate and easy-to-understand financial reports for chief executives and boards of directors, to ensure they fulfil their management and governance roles.
John has highly developed knowledge and skills in the setting up of QuickBooks and MYOB software and maintaining records in
accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking and reconciliations, preparation of IAS, BAS, PAYG and statutory returns.
John is an active community supporter, giving many years of volunteer service to multicultural seniors groups within the City of Casey. For more than 10 years, John has provided bookkeeping and general accounting services to a local community organisation in Doveton. In recognition of his tireless voluntary work, John has been nominated for a Citizen Award.
